The University of Sheffield’s KPD (K-Pop Dance) Society has announced its newest committee members, in a social media post yesterday. The AGM, held on April 15th with voting over several days, has returned new faces to the K-Pop Dance committee, heading into the next academic year.
KPD Society is a group focused on the dance style K-Pop, originating in Korea, which has become a key element in South Korean culture. The group hold weekly classes in the dance style, and also hold competitions, with their competitive group the New Dawn dance team made up of society members and competing against other K-Pop groups and societies.
Annual General Meetings (AGMs) are an annual event in each society’s calendar, when constitution changes are voted on and new committee members are elected.
