Anna Campbell has been reelected the SU’s Activities and Development Officer for the 2024/25 academic term.
She won 1542 votes in total, beating four other candidates to win re-election.
She spoke to Forge Radio after her election win…
How are you feeling right now?
It’s such an honour to get a 2nd term. A great opportunity to make some changes that will really benefit students and activities. I’m really happy and grateful.
What are your priorities for your second term?
Particularly, I’m really looking forward to doing more discounts for students. They deserve money off activities, especially with the cost of living crisis.
Also, providing more support for societies generally; I’ve spent so much time behind the scenes and now want to use the connections I’ve made and all this evidence I’ve spent so much time gathering to now be able to take it to the university and actually get some real wins for societies, which will hopefully have long-term impacts.

Who would play you in a film of your life?
Florence Pugh.
You can time travel to any year in history anywhere in the world. Where, when and why?
Ancient Greece, they were the first civilization to put on paid concerts – as a former music student, and a musician myself, I find this really interesting and fun, and I’d love to get involved in some funky Greek beats.
What’s your meal deal? Not Tesco-exclusive, you can be edgy and pick a different shop…
Tesco. Hoisin duck wrap, innocent juice, and salt and vinegar squares crisps.
