The global brand, Sephora, has announced its newest location in Sheffield’s Meadowhall due to open this summer.
This was announced last week and will be located in the upper level of the centre, which anyone can now see as a huge sign is placed there that states ‘Something beautiful is brewing’.
Meadowhall is the second announcement for Sephora’s store openings in the UK this year, as it follows the announcement of a new store at Liverpool One, due to open this spring.
Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re incredibly excited about the upcoming arrival of Sephora at Meadowhall this summer. The iconic beauty brand has taken the UK by storm and being one of the first places Sephora has chosen for a store is fantastic.
“Sephora’s in-store experiences, extensive range and exclusive brands that have been so popular across the globe will undoubtedly be a huge hit with our visitors and we know they will be just as excited as us about the opening.”
Meadowhall is the ninth store in the UK to open, following their growth in 2024 when they first opened stores outside of London.
The store will have its own ‘beauty hub’ which will include makeup application by Sephora Collection, its own range of cosmetics, body care and hair care that is ‘accessibly priced’.
Currently, Meadowhall has over 290 retailers, and is the largest shopping centre in Yorkshire and the 9th largest in the UK. It has invested £1.8 million in community programmes through fundraising and cash contributions.
According to The Star, the fast food chain ‘Wingstop’ is also rumoured to open in the centre following job adverts for a general and assistant manager.
