Forge Press reached out to each of the five candidates for Education Officer and their interviews are listed below.
The Education Officer’s main aim is to represent students’ academic interests, and advocate for improvements to learning resources and teaching quality and policies.
They also liaise and work with the university to push for improvements in fairness, diversity and accessibility in assessments, course content and exams, as well as leading the Academic Rep system.
They will also lead campaigns to promote and improve the overall educational experience, such as study support services and study skills workshops
