New Outlet to Open in the Students’ Union

On September 22nd, Pitt Stop will open in the Student Union, serving customisable ‘make your own’ pittas and salad bowls just in time for Freshers’ Week.

The new food outlet will offer freshly prepared options, including chargrilled chicken, falafel, halloumi, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Customers can place their orders at a brand-new touchscreen kiosk, making this the first time such a kiosk will be available in the Student Union.

Anna, the Sustainability and Development Officer of the Student Union, said: “We’re so excited to be launching our brand new food outlet in your SU. Pitt Stop will bring customers a healthy, high-quality fast food experience that’s as convenient as it is delicious! We can’t wait to get open and for our students to try the new offer.”

Every purchase made at any of the SU outlets contributes funds back into the Student Union. Pitt Stop aims to be a quick, nutritious, and easy lunch option that you can craft to your taste.

The new food venue is located on level three of the Student Union, in the space previously known as New Leaf. Pitt Stop will be open from Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 3 PM each day.
