The University of Sheffield Pole Society (UoS PoleSoc) have revealed their Christmas Showcase, scheduled for later this week.
The society, which platforms performers of all ability levels, will be performing this Sunday (December 15th) at Hype Dance Company, with tickets available to any audience member who wants to witness the society in action!
In a post on the group’s social media page, the Christmas Showcase was announced yesterday afternoon, saying: “It’s nearly our showcase!!!”
“We are so excited to see you all on Sunday 15.12.24 for our annual festive season showcase! We’ve got some amazing performers lined up”
“Whether you’ve joined us this semester or not, you are welcome to come watch and support our performers! Open to non-pole folk, friends & family (including non-students!).”
The group have also shared more details about the venue, accessibility, and performers for the showcase ahead of the performance, with cheap tickets and alcohol allowed.
The University of Sheffield Pole Society is a performance group specialising in all things pole, offering classes, workshops, photoshoots and performances throughout the academic year.
Having classes available at a range of ability levels, for seasoned performers and new members, PoleSoc pride themselves on maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for their members, with the society open to all who wish to attend.
With only a few days to go until PoleSoc’s Christmas Showcase, the countdown is well and truly on to the group’s final performance of 2024.
With tickets available on the Students’ Union webpage, now is the perfect opportunity to see PoleSoc’s performers in action ahead of a second semester of classes, and support one of the university’s famous dance societies.
