Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to get back to winning ways following defeat on the road when they face an in-form Cheltenham Town side at Hillsborough stadium on Saturday.
The Owls were denied an excellent point away from home when they conceded a last-minute goal from Sam Cosgrove against table-topping side Plymouth Argyle in the mid-week fixture.
Wednesday currently sit third in the league despite having already played every other team in the top six, a fact the Sheffield side will take encouragement from.
Key for the Owls this season have been midfielder Barry Bannan and forward Josh Windass.
That is why many fans were critical of Darren Moore’s decision to take both players off in the Owls defeat on Tuesday.
The Owls will look to both players to break down a resolute Cheltenham defence which has only conceded 12 goals all season.
The visitors to Hillsborough will be no push-overs and come into this weekend’s fixture in good form.
Cheltenham have won their last three matches in all competitions including a 1-0 win against sixth-placed Bolton Wanderers.
However, the Robins away form leaves much to be desired, having only won one of their opening five away games this season.
A blow for Cheltenham will be the loss of top scorer Alfie May who was stretchered off against Shrewsbury last weekend with ankle ligament damage.
Reece James is likely to miss out for Wednesday after sustaining a knock against Plymouth but George Byers and Mark McGuiness should be back in the squad.
