The Steel City Sirens Burlesque society will be returning to the stage before the Christmas break.

Set to play the Students’ Union’s Raynor Lounge on December 6th, the burlesque coven will bring their show Naughty or Nice to audiences in less than two weeks time.

Rated 18+, the group have already begun to tease the public with what will await in their latest show.

Taking to social media, the coven announced the “present you’ve just been waiting for, packed full of amazing solos, duets and group performances”.

“Let’s see if you’re on our naughty or nice list this year”.

As well as this, the society run a number of practice sessions, classes, socials and other events in the academic calendar, boasting an inclusive and welcoming space for all people of all genders, sexualities and experience levels.

Their most recent show, Death Becomes Them, was a huge success at Halloween, with many audience members praising the Sirens’ skill and passion.

With tickets priced at £7 for seated places, the show is set to be an exciting and thrilling return of our very own burlesque coven to the stages of the Students’ Union.

With a precedent for adapting their audience configuration to be inclusive of those with accessibility issues, Naughty or Nice is the perfect opportunity to see the return of the Sirens for all at our university, whether seasoned burlesque viewers or taking the first step into this performance type.

Less than two weeks to go and with tickets now available, the countdown is well and truly underway, with the Sirens’ promise of a friendly welcome and their performances set to heat up Raynor Lounge on this cold winter night.
