Alessi Rose illuminated the stage of a sold-out Octagon Centre in Sheffield on Thursday night with her first ever performance in the city. This tour follows the release of Voyeur (Deluxe) and the triumph of her UK tour earlier this year.

The artist has been one-to-watch since 2023, being seen widely as a rising star since her debut single Say Ur Mine was viewed over 40,000 times in under a week. In the space of the year, she has supported the likes of Tate McRae and Dua Lipa alongside going on two of her own tours, making it clear that the derby-born singer has found comfort on stage. This night was no exception!
The opening act, Déyyess, wasted no time entrancing the audience. The set was dark and intimate. Carried by smoky vocals and tracks that held intensity, she gradually pulled the audience into her world.
When the lights finally dimmed for the main act, you could feel the atmosphere change. That Could Be Me was the perfect opener: punchy, confident, and energetic. Against the pink and blue lights, Alessi Rose knew how to draw her fans in and build excitement for the rest of the show to new levels.
Alessi’s vocals were clear and controlled, but it’s her presence that truly anchored the night. Expressive and magnetic, she used the stage almost as a prop, her constant movement keeping fans on both sides fully engaged.
Between songs, she spoke with the relaxed charm that created a sense of connection throughout, making sure to check-in with her audience on multiple occasions. It was like she wasn’t just performing at the audience but performing with them.

Pretty World was my personal favourite – an opinion I think many would agree with. It was both inspiring and beautiful to watch her perform the song – one dedicated to her fans – with such genuine love. She took this opportunity to leave the stage and sing among her audience on the floor, further heightening the moment by creating a shared memory that would undoubtedly stick with everyone present.
The energy in the arena was electrifying by the time she finished with Same Mouth. In addition to applauding, fans were begging for one more song. It’s uncommon to see an artist solidify their success in real time, but Alessi Rose did just that.
