The International Students’ Committee from the University of Sheffield are hosting a Battle of the Bands competition, where talented student musicians will sing, dance and perform in hope to be named the 2019 champion.
This year’s theme is “From the Screen to the Scene” so expect to hear classic tracks from plays, films and TV shows.
There will be performances from Arab Society, Swing Dance Society, Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA), Malaysian and Singaporean Society (Massoc), Music Players Society and many more.
Last years winners, Sri Lankan Society, will also be competing for this years title.
The event comes a few weeks after the ISC hosted Sheffield’s Got Talent at Coffee Revolution.
The competition will take place in The Foundry, Student Union at 7pm on 29 November with tickets costing £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
