🔴 Sheffield Eagles v York Knights: LIVE updates from the RFL Championship

Follow along with live updates from the OLP Stadium as Sheffield Eagles host York Knights in the RFL Championship.

The Eagles come into the game hoping to secure a home eliminator play-off game.

The home side sit fourth, two points ahead of the Knights – but have a significantly lower points difference, meaning an away victory would see them leap-frogged by Mark Applegarth’s side in the table.

It’s also veteran Eagles half-back Anthony Thackeray’s first game since announcing his retirement from playing at the end of the season – bringing an end to a 17-year long career.

Fittingly, he’s up against the side where he made his first senior appearance, back in 2007.

He won this division with Castleford Tigers later that year, and will be hoping to help his side into the best possible position to emulate that with Sheffield Eagles.

Live updates will appear below.
