Cash and other items were taken in a burglary from the Hick’s Building last night (Tuesday 25 February), according to an email from the Physics department.
Burglars broke into a number of offices, and took items from within. An email from Angie Rollinson, the Deputy Departmental Manager, alerted those in the department to the break-in, and appealed for anyone who was working out-of-hours and had any information to come forward.
The University of Sheffield have been contacted for comment, and this article will be updated as the story develops.
