Sheffield's Harley set to reopen

Famous bar and live music venue, The Harley, which suddenly shut down in April, is set to reopen this autumn.
The venue on Glossop Road, which was also home to Twisted Burger Company, is to rebrand as a live sports venue.
Owners Mitchell and Butler, who run approximately 1,784 establishments across several brands including Toby Carvery and All Bar One, have decided to invest in the iconic venue and will offer ‘craft ales and lagers, gin and cocktails and great food’ when they reopen.
Mitchell and Butler have said that in addition to the live sports, The Harley will retain its live music presence.
A notice has also gone up in the window to notify locals of an application to Sheffield City Council for a minor variation in licensing conditions, which includes varying the layout of the premises. All hours and licensable activities will remain the same.
Speaking to VIBE, Mitchell and Butler said: “From time to time we review our estate and have taken the decision to invest in this business.
“We expect to be reopening the Harley in the Autumn this year, retaining a live music presence whilst enhancing the offer of the iconic Sheffield destination.”
